The story About it
About Wick Trimmer
Trimming the wick to 5 mm before every burn is the single thing that makes the most difference to a candle. It keeps the flame small and steady, stops soot and makes the wax last longer.
Ours is forged in blackened steel, 18 cm long, with an angled jaw that reaches the bottom of a 400 g vessel and a flat foot that holds on to the trimmed end until you drop it in the bin.
