About Brass Snuffer
Blowing a candle out sends a curl of smoke across the room and can spatter wax up the inside of the vessel. A snuffer just takes away the air.
Ours is solid, unlacquered brass, 24 cm long. It will darken and soften with use and handling. If you prefer it bright, a little brass polish brings it back.
