- Any emptied Lanthorn 400 g vessel. See our care guide for how to clean one out.
- Sleeve
- Recycled aluminium, 0.3 mm. Recyclable with household metal once empty.
- Wax
- British rapeseed wax and Perthshire beeswax, 70/30 by weight. Undyed.
- Burn time
- About 80 hours.
Burning and care
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm (¼ in) before every burn.
- On the first burn, let the melt pool reach the edge of the vessel: about 2½ hours for 220 g, 3½ for 400 g.
- Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep away from draughts, children and pets, on a heat-resistant surface.
- Stop when about 1 cm (½ in) of wax remains.

Unused, unburnt items can be returned within 30 days. Faulty items, always.
Fragrance and allergen safety
Contains Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Coumarin. May produce an allergic reaction.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts and anything that can catch fire. Don’t move the candle while it’s lit or while the wax is liquid. Dispose of contents and container in line with local regulations. If you have a known sensitivity to any of the ingredients above, don’t burn it.

The story About it
About Lamplighter Refill
Our stoneware is made to outlast the candle in it. Most people clean the vessel and use it for pens, brushes or a plant. Some would rather just light it again.
The refill is a full 400 g Lamplighter, about 80 hours, poured into a thin aluminium sleeve made from recycled metal. It drops into any emptied 400 g Lanthorn vessel. When it’s finished, the sleeve goes in your metal recycling.
We refill our house scent only for now. We’d rather do one refill well than eight badly.
